| By Car | From the South (M1) At junction 43 the motorway splits. Take the right hand lanes and follow the M621 Leeds Centre. Exit the M621 at junction 3 and follow signs for the city centre and universities on the City Centre loop road. Pass under the railway bridges, keeping in the outside lane, and enter City Square. With the main Post Office on your right, continue along the loop road and turn right at the next traffic lights onto East Parade. Travel up East Parade in the left hand lane, straight across The Headrow into Calverley Street (the Town Hall will be on your left) past the Leeds General Infirmary (on your left) and filter into the right hand lane before turning right immediately after the Civic Hall (on your right). Turn left at the next traffic lights onto Woodhouse Lane (A660) and continue up the hill past the University main entrance. Continue straight on at the second set of traffic lights, past The Library pub to the traffic lights at Hyde Park Corner. Continue straight on for about half a mile, past the Skyrack pub and to another set of traffic lights and the junction with Wood Lane. Pass the Arndale Centre and Safeways supermarket on the right and turn immediately right into Alma Road. Lupton Residences are on the right. From the M62 Eastbound Exit the M62 at junction 27 to the M621. Exit the M621 at junction 2 (signposted Harrogate, York and Skipton) after a few hundred yards you will come to a major roundabout. Take the third exit to the city centre and join the inner ring road; from there take the exit signposted Skipton, which will bring you onto Woodhouse Lane (A660). Continue up the hill past the University main entrance, straight on at the second set of traffic lights and past The Library pub to the traffic lights at Hyde Park Corner. Continue straight on for about half a mile, past the Skyrack pub and to another set of traffic lights and the junction with Wood Lane. From the M62 Westbound Exit M62 at junction 29 to join M1 northbound. Continue from - From the South (M1) From A1 Northbound Leave A1 (at exit to Ferrybridge Services) to join M62 westbound. Exit M62 at junction 29 to join M1 northbound. Continue from - From the South (M1) From A1 Southbound Leave the A1 on the A58 and continue towards Leeds, join the outer ring road (dual carriageway) and turn right to go north of Leeds. Take the A660 into Leeds and pass The Village hotel and New Inn pub on the left. Continue through the next set of traffic lights and turn left onto Alma Road immediately before the Arndale centre. Lupton Residences are on the right. |
| By Train | You can find train timetable information at www.nationalrail.co.uk. There is a taxi rank outside the main entrance of the rail station. The taxi fare to Lupton Residences should be about £6. The number 1 and the number 95 service leave every 10 minutes from Infirmary Street on City Square close to the rail station - ask the driver for the Arndale Centre in Headingley. Take Alma Road on the right just past the Arndale Centre; Lupton Residences are on the right. |
