Viewing Day 2017

Getting to the University

On Viewing Days we are unable to offer parking on campus, so recommend that you use public transport wherever possible. Leeds has many public transport links so it's often the quickest and simplest way of getting around. Find out how to find us and read the travel advice below.

By train: Leeds railway station connects us with all major UK cities and has a fast and efficient London service. For train information, tickets and timetables visit the National Rail Enquiries website.

By coach: For coach details, visit the National Express website. From the bus and coach station you can take the number 6 bus to the main entrance to the University.

By Bus: There are a number of excellent bus services in Leeds. Visit the West Yorkshire Metro website and First Leeds for timetables and general information.
From the bus and coach station, you can take bus number 6 to the University’s main entrance. From the city centre, the following buses will take you to the University’s main entrance: 1, 6, 28, 56 and 97.

Car Parking: Parking will be available in the University visitor’s car park, but please be aware that there will be a charge incurred.

Driving directions to multi-storey car park from main entrance:
From the main entrance, please follow the road (Cavendish Road) until you reach the multi-storey car park. If the car park is full, there may be spaces available outside of the car park. Additional disabled parking spaces can be found behind the Michael Sadler Building near main entrance.
Please be aware that car parking on campus is limited and on a first come first serve basis, therefore we cannot guarantee everyone a space.

Walking directions from multi-storey car park to registration point:
From the multi-storey car park take the pedestrian exit on floor 1. Turn left and follow the building along. Turn right under the archway of the E. C. Stoner Building and then left up the hill. Turn right onto Cavendish Road and continue until you see the registration point in the marquee outside the main entrance.

How to Pay:
When returning to your car, you’ll need to pay using the payment machines. These can be found in either the multi-storey car park or by the Edge Sports Centre.

Please note that the University uses Automatic Number Plate Recognition. Failure to pay may result in parking charges.
