Catered Students

For residents living in our on campus catered residences, including Charles Morris Hall, Ellerslie Global Residence and Lyddon Hall, you have a ‘Refresh card Meal Plan Package’ included in your rent. You can use this to 'purchase' food 8am - 7pm Monday to Friday and 10am - 2pm at the weekend. Meals can be taken from the Refectory, next to the Students' Union, the Mezz bar and Hugo, the Camionnette Cafe, at set meal times detailed below.

You can find out more about the 'Refresh card Meal Plan Package', including information on how to register your card and where it can be used, on the Great Food at Leeds website.

Your card can also be used like a regular Refresh Card. This means that you can top it up online and use this credit balance to buy meals, snacks and drinks from any University catering outlet on campus at anytime.

At Devonshire Hall, meals are served in the main dining hall within the residence. You are provided with breakfast and an evening meal Monday to Friday, brunch and evening meal on a Saturday and lunch on a Sunday. There are also a number of 'formal' meals each year held at Devonshire.

There's no extra cost for formal dinners and you don't have to attend if you don't want to, but they're usually fun events.

You will have also received a Refresh Card when you moved in. You can top it up online and use the credit balance to purchase meals, drinks or snacks from any of the University catering outlets on campus.

There's at least one vegetarian option at each meal and when beef or pork dishes are on the menu an alternative is always made available. We'll try to provide you with meals that suit any allergies or intolerances, please just let us know.
