From Monday 17 May 2021 the Government has announced you will be able to meet indoors in groups of either six or of two households. We’re happy to say that this means you will now be able to have guests or visitors to your flat from outside of your household.
Rules around quiet times in residences, as listed in your contract terms and conditions, still remain in place so please be respectful of your fellow residents and keep noise to a minimum after 10pm. You must also remember that if you wish to organize a party in residences you must ask for permission from your Residence Life Warden – this is again listed in your contract terms and conditions.
You will also be able to meet with members of other households in any indoor common spaces within your residence. Please remember to still follow Government guidance on social distancing – do not interact with anyone outside of your group of six people/two households and stay two metres apart from anyone who is not in your household or support bubble where possible.
As a reminder, if you are staying in a self-contained flat your household consists of everyone who lives in that flat with you. If you are staying in Devonshire, Ellerslie or Oxley and your room does not form part of a self-contained flat then your site team will have already advised you who is part of your household.
