We’re so glad you’ve decided to stay with us during your time at university. To help you settle in, here’s are a list of things you should look into as soon as you can.
- It’s really important that you register with a GP for your time in Leeds. Handily, the Leeds Student Medical Practice is located just across the road from the Parkinson Building.
- You may also need a vaccination for meningitis – check the Leeds Student Medical Practice website for more information.
- Leeds is a great place to live and study, but it’s important to take simple steps to keep yourself and your possessions safe. The Security website has advice and guidance you should read.
- We don’t tolerate drug use or supply on University premises. Make sure you understand the consequences, and how to get help if needed.
- It’s important that you remember that in signing your tenancy agreement there are rules that you have agreed to respect for the duration of your occupancy.
- The University is committed to increasing sustainability within our residences, find out how you can play an active role in promoting green living.
- As part of your contract, you automatically have an Edge Club Halls Membership which includes off-peak and weekend access to the gym and swimming pool. You can also upgrade your membership to receive complete freedom to work out when you want.
- Whether you’re interested in club sport, volunteering or social sport there’s something for you to get involved in with Leeds Sport.
