Summer accommodation

We are ONLY able to assist University of Leeds registered students, who are currently residing in the UK.

The deadline for applications is 5pm Thursday 18th June 2020.

If you currently have a contract for and are living in University owned accommodation:

  • North Hill Court
  • Shared Houses 
  • Sentinel Towers – no extensions will be possible if your contracts is for 51 weeks and ends in September
  • St Marks Residences – no extensions will be possible if your contracts is for 51 weeks and ends in September

You can apply for an extension from your current contract end date until 10:00am 31 August 2020. There is no minimum booking period

Where possible, the extension will be in your current room and you will not receive new flatmates. 

All summer bookings will be on a self-catered basis and chargeable at your current rate (with the exception of catered accommodation rates which will be reduced).

On receipt of your application form, we will email confirmation to you plus information on how to obtain the keys etc.  

How to pay:  an invoice will be sent to you at the start date of the booking and you will have 7 days from the invoice date to pay in full.  Failure to pay may result in late payment fees.  Instalment plans are not available for summer accommodation. 

We cannot process applications from those in term-time rent arrears

If you are not now already living in University of Leeds accommodation

If you were released from your University of Leeds accommodation contract and have remained in the UK, or are currently living in private accommodation in the UK, we can assist with single-person en-suite accommodation between 04 July and 10:00am 31 August 2020. Whilst we still have students clearing their rooms at present, we have limited availabilty at Sentinel Towers and Central Village. Both residences are within walking distance to campus and to Leeds City Centre.

Within a flat of between five and eight occupants, you will share the kitchen and dining area; when bedrooms are vacated, they will be cleaned and re-let.

Being self-catered accommodation, you'll bring your own bedding, towels & toiletries, cooking utensils, crockery & cutlery.

The minimum booking period is 14 consecutive nights

All University of Leeds buildings are non-smoking. We are unable to assist with special dietary/vegetarian/halal/single-sex/quiet flats during summer. Summer accommodation lets do not include sports membership or laundry credits.

Bedrooms contain a bed, a wardrobe, study table & chair, waste paper bin, bedside unit and bookshelf.  Curtains are fitted and floors are carpeted.  The communal area has a cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, table & dining chairs, Iron & Ironing board, kettle, vacuum, dustpan & brush, sweeping brush, waste bin, mop & bucket, 1 fire blanket & 2 fire extinguishers.
