Getting here

By road

If you are driving to any of our residences, directions can be found on our individual residence pages. Please be aware that there is a planned closure of the M62 motorway between Leeds and Manchester from Friday 20 to Sunday 23 September. Please see National Highways website for more details.

We advise that you do not have a car during your time at University as it is much quicker to get around using public transport links. However, if you do decide to bring one, please note that parking at residences is extremely limited. Contact accom@leeds.ac.uk to find out more about parking permits.

By train

Leeds railway station connects us with all major UK cities and has a fast and efficient London service. For train information, tickets and timetables, visit National Rail Enquiries.

By coach

For travelling greater distances, National Express coaches provide a country-wide service to Leeds. From the bus and coach station you can take either the number 6, 8, 27, 28 or 29 bus to the Parkinson Steps, at the main entrance to the University.
