Key collection

Once you've paid your deposit and accepted your residence contract online, you can book a slot to move in.

Please make sure that you arrive during your booked timeslot. This will enable us to run our staggered and contactless arrivals process, and ensure that social distancing can be maintained by limiting the number of students arriving at any one time.

Covid-19 testing and vaccinations

You should take a rapid covid-19 test at home before you set off and make sure your results are negative. Once you arrive you should take two tests on site, and then keep testing regularly during the term. Remember to report all your results online. If you’re not fully vaccinated, grab a jab as soon as you can to help keep life moving. For more information visit

Travelling and parking

Please try to arrive during your booked timeslot. It’s worth checking this website to make sure you’re aware of any potential traffic disruptions before you set off. Once you arrive at your residence please make sure that you are parked in a designated parking area. There is limited parking at all of our sites and some may have drop-off zones where you can get out and unload before you need to move your car to a car park.

Collecting your keys

You will be directed to where you can collect your keys and check in. After this please unload your vehicle as quickly as possible and you can start to bring your belongings to your room.

We ask that you wear a face covering in all indoor communal areas and if possible, please try to limit the number of friends or family members who help you to move in – this helps to give everyone a bit more space.

Arriving out of hours

If you are arriving when your residence site office will be closed, please email us in the Accommodation Office ( at least two working days in advance so we can advise you where to collect your keys.
