University-owned properties
The University manages a mixture of traditional large terraced houses and one-, two- or three-bedroom flats. Many are on campus and close to shops and schools. Most have on-street parking.

Size and facilities
The size and layout of the properties varies. Some have one bedroom and are suitable for a couple or a couple with a baby; others have two to three bedrooms, suitable for a couple with two or three children. We also have some studio apartments, with a lounge/bedroom.
All properties have bathroom facilities and a kitchen with a cooker and fridge/freezer. Some also have a lounge.
Utility bills
The rent you pay includes your water, gas and electric costs, as well as high speed internet and TV licence fees.
Contract length
If you are studying a masters degree you may book for up to 1 year contract. If you are studying an undergraduate or research postgraduate degree you book accommodation for up to 2 years. After which time you will need to search for accommodation in the private sector.
Your welfare
In University of Leeds family accommodation, there is a warden (a member of University staff), who can advise and help you sort out any problems. You can find more information for students with families here.
