Commuter Students

Information and applying

If you are a commuter student you can now book to stay at our Commuter Student Accommodation at Central Village.   

We are now offering affordable and flexible accommodation for commuter students who travel to Leeds from the surrounding area. The accommodation is open to all University of Leeds registered students, who are studying full time or part time.  

What we offer  

  • Flexible stays. Commuter students can apply to stay for a minimum of one night and a maximum of consecutive 14 nights.  

  • Quality accommodation. Accommodation provided is an ensuite room contained within a cluster flat at Central Village. All rooms have a double bed, desk and storage. Bedrooms are provided with bed linen and towels.  

  • Access to on-site facilities. Secure bike storage, limited on-site parking (if requested and available at the time of booking) and Central Village common room.  

  • Access to the Central Village reception team. Operating 24 hours a day.  

Pricing  

Accommodation is available at a rate of £35 per night.  

How to book  

To make a booking enquiry please complete the Commuter Student Accommodation request form. 

Following completion of this form, a member of the accommodation office team will contact you directly via email to confirm availability and offer you a room if available.  

Enquiry forms are reviewed Monday to Friday and during working hours, 9am to 4.30pm. We require 2 working days to process any booking enquiries.  

We are unable to review and process applications submitted over the weekend or when the university is closed (e.g. Bank Holidays or other holiday periods (e.g. Christmas). As a result, your enquiry will be reviewed when the accommodation office reopens and at the earliest opportunity. 

Cancellation  

We understand that sometimes your plans can change. If you need to cancel a booking, please let us know as soon as possible by contacting the accommodation office (accom@leeds.ac.uk / 0113 343 7777). Cancellation fees may apply. Further information about terms and conditions can be found here.
