Pre-sessional language students

If you are attending a University of Leeds pre-sessional language course in the summer months, we will have accommodation available for you to book.

To accommodate the range of language courses available as well as the 10 day quarantine requirement you may need to undertake, we have three booking options available for pre-sessional students. Please read through these options then apply using our application form. 

Option 1: 10 week stay

Saturday 3 July to Saturday 11 September 2021  

Students choosing the ten week stay will be allocated to Central Village. The flats in Central Village have a kitchen, dining and living area. All bedrooms are en-suite and have a 4ft double bed. Central Village is on the edge of campus and is also within walking distance to Leeds city centre.

Option 2: 8 week stay

Friday 16 July to Saturday 11 September 2021

Option 3: 6 week stay

Friday 30 July to Saturday 11 September 2021 

Students choosing option 2 or 3 will be allocated Montague Burton or Central Village. Flats in Montague Burton have a kitchen, dining area and a small lounge. Each bedroom has a 4ft double bed and sink. On average, 1 bathroom is shared between 4 students. Montague Burton is located within walking distance to the campus and Leeds city centre.

The flats in Central Village have a kitchen, dining and living area. All bedrooms are en-suite and have a 4ft double bed. Central Village is on the edge of campus and is also within walking distance to Leeds city centre.

Both are fixed contracts and expire at 10am on Saturday 11 September 2021.

Catering

Bedding will be provided however all accommodation offered will be self-catered and you will be required to provide your own towels, toiletries, cooking utensils, dining items and food and drink.

Rent Costs

Rents will vary, depending on the distance from campus and whether is the room offered is en-suite or shared bathroom. However, the cost for the above options are outlined as follows:
