Temporary Summer Jobs
During the summer months, within the Accommodation Office we have a number of exciting roles available. To assist during a very busy period, we require assistance in processing accommodation applications for new and existing students. In addition, we also establish a call centre in August to help answer the hundreds of calls we receive daily from students excited to start living at the University of Leeds.
Starting dates for the positions vary between July and August and you must be available to work for the full duration of the contract. All roles will be working in the Accommodation Office on campus and unfortunately cannot be offered on a working from home basis.
Interested applicants must be computer literate, have experience of working in a busy office environment, be able to organise and prioritise their workload, have excellent communication skills, work well under pressure and present information clearly and legibly. Full training will be provided for each position.
The rate of pay is £10.38 per hour and you will earn approximately 1 hour holiday pay for every 6.5 hours worked, which will be paid to you at the end of the contract.
The closing date for applying is 12 noon Friday 31 March 2023. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by Friday 07 April 2023, and interviews will take place on Tuesday 18 April 2023. Shortlisted candidates will also be required to complete a short written assessment.
